This seems more to me like they are trying to train your unconscious mind to get into a better flow state and the picture just becomes better. I really like the philosophy, Thanks for sharing!

Just feel like it'd be better to have atleast some more measurable goals in there though. Like eventually went to x% better rested days? Maybe using a fitness tracker? If it's just a feeling that you are trying to get to wouldn't the progress be slower?

Great call out about having some measurable goals. It is a balance between obsessing about metrics and going completely ad-hoc. For me, I cannot not obsess about metrics once I start tracking, even if it's through the fitness tracker. I've realized that for several things e.g. sleep time I don't really need tracking. It's ok to just check on how I feel. I'm not gonna stress about the fact I slept only 6hrs.

I also used to track number of books I read and then again I felt worse for reading fewer books.

In my current approach, I may not achieve as much as would if I was tracking everything, but I feel better. I'm also open for newer experiences. And I'm OK to pay that price.
